Tuition

     All specimens, supplies, some tools, and manuals are included in the cost of tuition and are the student’s to keep when the course is completed.  There are no additional charges for class or materials.

Method of Payment:

Full payment is due upon the first day of class. Please enroll at least two weeks prior to the start of the desired session. Due to limited class size, students are required to remit an enrollment deposit to ensure a spot in the session of their choice. Always contact the school first before sending any deposit to confirm that the session is not already full.

Payments may be made by either money order, good personal check, or cash, and accompanied by a completed enrollment form.



GI Bill ® Assistance: The School is qualified by the Iowa Department of Education, Veterans and Military Education Program, to accept Veterans, their dependents and members of the selected reserve under section 3676 of chapter 36, title 38, U.S. code and chapter 1606, title 10, U.S. code (GI bill programs for educational benefits). Our policies are consistent with the terms of Section 103 of the Veterans Benefits and Transition Act of 2018 for recipients of Chapter 31 and Chapter 33 of the G.I. Bill.

Students must submit a letter from Veterans Affairs stating the percentage of benefits for which they qualify, and must start the process and paperwork in sufficient time for confirmation before their desired session begins.

Enrollment deposits are waived for eligible GI Bill Education Benefit recipients. GI Bill students are usually responsible for their own lodging and travel expenses.

Dislocated Workers: The School is also certified by the Iowa Dislocated Worker Program. Some students may wish to check into this program for financial assistance, as well as other programs that award grants or loans for skilled trades.

Lodging, Meals & Travel: 

           Students are responsible for their own living expenses such as travel, food, personal needs, medical, and lodging. Lodging is available on-site in an attached 4-bedroom apartment for a nominal fee.
